Autumn – The time for the quaint custom of "Törggelen"
In early-September, the Törggelen season begins in Auer / Ora. Traditional South Tyrolean specialties like dumplings, barley soup, roasted chestnuts, and “Schüttelbrot” (thin flat bread) with South Tyrolean bacon are among the many culinary highlights of our homeland.
Our tip: In the “Tschurtschkeller” informal tavern in Auer / Ora, you can enjoy typical Törggele dishes the whole year round.

The Pinot Noir Wine Culture Trail starts right outside our Garni and the Black and White Trail is also easily accessible from Ora.
With the WinePass you can travel free of charge to lofty heights via the Mendel funicular railway, the cable cars to Ritten, Jenesien, Meransen, Mölten, Kohlern and Vöran. As well as on all other public transport in South Tyrol.
Bike Holidays
Cycling in Ora, Montagna, Egna and Salorno is glorious and varied. Enjoy exploring the area on traffic-free level cycle paths, along the wine route and the Adige river or along the old Val di Fiemme railway line. Vineyards and apple orchards as far as the eye can see, shady deciduous woods, colourful meadows and cycling past Lago di Caldaro. There is always a touch of the south in this unique part of the country, allowing cycling and biking virtually all-year round.
